How does it work?

The DÉCAAR Algae Peel contains marine algae, herbs, and micro-needling algae crystals. These crystals

work similarly to micro-needling, creating thousands of microscopic channels in the upper skin layers.

Is there any downtime?

You may experience mild redness and tingling for up to 48 hours. Around days 3–5, your skin may begin to flake or peel. This is completely normal — it’s your skin renewing itself. We recommend avoiding makeup, exfoliants, or active ingredients until the peeling subsides.

How many treatments will I need?

You’ll notice a difference after just one treatment, but a course of 3–6 treatments (spaced 1-2 weeks apart) delivers optimal, long-term results — especially for acne, scarring, and pigmentation.

Yes — the DÉCAAR Algae Peel is a natural formulation, free from harsh acids and chemicals. It’s suitable for many skin types, including all fitzpatrick skin tones, sensitive or reactive skin. 

For individuals with deeper skin tones, a personalised pre-treatment plan may be recommended to help minimise the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This will be carefully discussed and assessed during your consultation with our experienced skin therapist
