What are polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are chains of nucleotides, which are the fundamental building blocks of DNA and RNA. Sourced from purified and highly-compatible marine DNA, this treatment is a revolutionary leap in regenerative aesthetics. It is not designed to plump, but to directly stimulate the skin's fibroblasts—the cells responsible for producing collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.

How do polynucleotides work?

Plenhyage XL contains one of the highest concentrations of polynucleotides on the market (20mg as opposed to 2mg in alternative brands), this translates to better long-term results and a more powerful regenerative effect.

Do polynucleotides hurt?

Discomfort is minimal. We apply a topical numbing cream before treatment to keep you comfortable. Some clients may experience mild tenderness, papule (bumps) or swelling post-treatment.

When all I notice results from my polynucleotide treatment?​

Polynucleotides work by triggering your body’s natural response, so results are gradual and accumulate over your course of treatment:

• Initial Improvements: Subtle hydration and a reduction in inflammation/undereye puffiness may be noticeable after the first session.

• Optimal Results: The most significant changes in firmness, elasticity, and texture are seen 4–8 weeks after the final session as your new collagen is produced.

How many sessions of polynucleotides do I need?

We recommend a course of 3 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart, for the best clinical results.

Following this course, we recommend 1 maintenance session every 6–12 months to upkeep results.

What are the side effects of polynucleotides?

Immediately after treatment, it is normal to experience some small, temporary bumps (like mosquito bites) at the injection sites, as well as possible mild swelling, redness or bruising. These are temporary and usually settle within 24–72 hours.

Rare side effects can include: Allergic reactions and Infections however an in-depth medical consultation will be carried out prior to treatment to ensure suitability.
